Neutrality

The mind rises from presence, from pure consciousness, and splits into duality or polar opposites. This in itself is not a problem, but it becomes one when we desire on pole and resist its opposite.

We have left neutrality. This is the genesis of suffering.

Although we often believe that we need to rely on passion to accomplish and achieve, this belief is erroneous. Passion is unsustainable, subject to energetic ups and downs, and clouds our clear seeing.

Neutrality is the true energizing state.
